15 Decades of Quilts and Water
Challenge
In celebration of the City of Golden's
150th Anniversary, RMQM will feature quilts from the
pioneer days to present day.
15 Decades of
Quilts honors traditions of early quilters by
showcasing the technique and fabrics of each decade.
The progression illustrates various points of
influence and changes in quilting thru pictorials,
colors, and patterns.
Water is often taken for granted, but it touches
every aspect of our lives. Water unceasingly changes
shapes and transforms itself--a source of unique
inspiration. This collection of 75 small quilts
illustrates an amazing array of techniques and
exquisite fabrics.
